Softball Recap: Marcus Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

Marcus never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 14-0 margin over the Braswell Bengals. The result was nothing new for the Marauders, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Marcus has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. Braswell's loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Coincidentally, Marcus and Braswell will both be playing Flower Mound the next time they take the field. Braswell will host Flower Mound at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Marcus will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th.
