Soccer Recap: Lenoir City Takes a Loss

If Lenoir City was feeling good fresh off their 9-1 takedown of McMinn Central last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Bearden Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 7-0. Lenoir City haven't had much luck with Bearden recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lenoir City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-2. As for Bearden, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1-1.

Looking ahead, Lenoir City will welcome Christian Academy of Knoxville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bearden, they are taking a road trip to face off against Farragut at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
