Baseball Recap: TERRA Environmental Comes Up Short

TERRA Environmental lost against Palmer Trinity back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. TERRA Environmental fell just short of Palmer Trinity by a score of 6-5. TERRA Environmental has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Xavier Hernandez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Michael Gutierrez, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

TERRA Environmental's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Palmer Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. TERRA Environmental will welcome Palmetto at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palmer Trinity, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mater Bay Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
