Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Notre Dame Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 62-61 to the Lighthouse Christian Chargers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lighthouse Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Rahn, who went 8 for 13 en route to 19 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Lee Stinson, who posted 17 points.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Lighthouse Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
