Volleyball Recap: Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

The Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Savannah Arts Academy Panthers on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Despite the defeat, Mt. Bethel Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bree Benich had 16 digs and three aces. Benich is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Macey Dorough also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Savannah Arts Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Lambert on the 16th. As for Savannah Arts Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Davidson Fine Arts on the 16th.
