Recap: Lakes Eagles vs. Grayslake Central Rams
The Lakes Eagles lost against the Grayslake Central Rams back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Lakes took a serious blow against the Rams, falling 65-31. Lakes has struggled against the Rams recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Lakes' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paige-elicia Caruth, who scored six points.
Lakes' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Grayslake Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakes will take on the Knights at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grayslake Central, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
