Basketball Game Preview: Fargo North Spartans vs. West Fargo Packers

Fargo North and West Fargo are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2020, but not for long. The Fargo North Spartans will square off against the West Fargo Packers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Fargo North had to suffer through a 82-48 loss at the hands of Fargo Davies. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, West Fargo lost to Red River on the road by a 90-76 margin on Tuesday.

Fargo North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for West Fargo, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Fargo North was able to grind out a solid victory over West Fargo in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 88-80. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fargo North since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
