Basketball Recap: Kellyville Victorious

Kellyville proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 44) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Adair Warriors 45-43. Given the Ponies' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Warriors are ranked 215th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kellyville has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Adair, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

When Kellyville and Adair next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Kellyville will challenge Preston and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Adair will try to stop Inola's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
