Calvary Baptist owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Crossroads Christian Warriors with a sharp 8-0 win. Considering the Cougars have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Devin Debuono was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Calvary Baptist is 10-2 when Debuono posts two or more runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Jake Guillen was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Calvary Baptist's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Crossroads Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Calvary Baptist wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against The Grove School on the 23rd. As for Crossroads Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Cornerstone Christian at 2:45 a.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
