Lincolnview is a perfect 5-0 against Columbus Grove since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lancers are taking a road trip to challenge the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lincolnview has four straight wins, Columbus Grove has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, Lincolnview was able to grind out a solid victory over Hicksville, taking the game 8-3.

Meanwhile, Columbus Grove fell victim to Miller City and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Wildcats.

Columbus Grove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Breanna Hoffman, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Lincolnview's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Columbus Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Lincolnview took their win against Columbus Grove in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
