After a string of three wins, Saucon Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to the Bangor Slaters. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, Saucon Valley couldn't push the score so high this time.

Saucon Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Chaffier, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with an RBI. Chaffier has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Cole Hubert was another key contributor, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
