Softball Recap: Sierra Canyon Takes a Loss

Sierra Canyon lost against Harvard-Westlake back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trailblazers fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 5-4.

Sierra Canyon dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Harvard-Westlake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Sierra Canyon will venture away from home to square off against Chaminade at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trailblazers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Harvard-Westlake, they will welcome Louisville at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
