Soccer Game Preview: Estero vs. Canterbury

The Estero Wildcats will square off against the Canterbury Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Estero is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Fort Myers on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Green Wave.

Estero's goal came courtesy of Anthony Pando, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Gateway Charter kept up with Canterbury until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Cougars put the hurt on the Griffins with a sharp 4-1 victory. Canterbury haven't had any issues with Gateway Charter recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Estero's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Canterbury, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.
