Baseball Recap: Marlborough Takes a Loss

Marlborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the North Middlesex Regional Patriots. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly four runs.

Marlborough's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for North Middlesex Regional, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Coincidentally, Marlborough and North Middlesex Regional will both be playing Groton-Dunstable the next time they take the field. The Patriots will host the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on the 30th.
