Softball Game Preview: Tecumseh Arrows vs. Sidney Yellowjackets

The Tecumseh Arrows will take on the Sidney Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Tecumseh and seven for Sidney.

Tecumseh came up short against Indian Lake on Saturday, falling 12-3.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Sidney's offense. They lost 7-0 to Greenville on Saturday.

Riley Dillon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on 12 hits.

Tecumseh's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Sidney, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.

Tecumseh got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2016 against Sidney by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Arrows since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
