Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Starts off Right with Win over Sonoraville

LaFayette had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Sonoraville Phoenix by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ramblers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

LaFayette not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sonoraville to exactly 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16.

Coincidentally, LaFayette and Sonoraville will both be playing Pickens the next time they take the court. The Ramblers will head out to face the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Phoenix will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
