Basketball Recap: Siegel Takes a Loss

Siegel lost against Rockvale two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Siegel Stars fell 66-59 to Rockvale. The Stars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Malachi Long had a dynamite game for Rockvale, going 7-for-12 to rack up 20 points and three steals. Rockvale is undefeated when Long posts 20 or more points, but 10-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Ty Newton, who posted 11 points.

Siegel's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Rockvale, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-13.

Siegel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rockvale, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Blackman at 7:30 p.m.
