Anderson is a perfect 10-0 against Oroville since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Anderson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Crye, who threw for 432 yards and five TDs while picking up 13.9 yards per attempt. With that strong performance, Crye is now averaging an impressive 331.2 passing yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Manley, who gained 159 total yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after only six points in their last contest, Oroville made sure to put some points up on the board against Weed on Friday. The Tigers came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 34-22.
Anderson better keep an eye on Ayden Morales. He was instrumental in Oroville's win, rushing for 178 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Those 178 rushing yards gave Morales a new career-high. Chris Townsend got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.
Oroville didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Weed to a completion percentage of just 31.6%. The Tigers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 100%.
Oroville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Anderson, their record now sits at 3-1.
