Ladarrion Newell's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Starting off the list is Gary West Side's Ladarrion Newell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Newell made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.

Gary West Side was led to victory by Kamari Loggins, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Loggins rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 0.5 sacks and made four total tackles.
This season, Loggins has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 22 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.

Whiting is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. White and Whiting will welcome LaVille at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
