Baseball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 18-2 to the Holt Rams. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Everett saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Prevo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Aron Esquivel also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Holt, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Everett is set to take on their familiar foe Grand Ledge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Holt will square off against rival East Lansing at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
