Kennedy is 9-1 against Grant since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will head out to take on the Pacers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Kennedy and eight for Grant.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kennedy faced off against West Park on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-2.

Kira Griffin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Grant lost 12-1 to McClatchy on Tuesday.

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Kennedy took their win against Grant in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 19-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
