Basketball Recap: Northeast Eagles vs. Springfield Yellow Jackets
Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 67-33 loss at the hands of the Springfield Yellow Jackets. The Eagles were down 57-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Despite the loss, Northeast still got an impressive performance from Qimara Summers, who went 9-for-19 on her way to 22 points along with six boards and three steals. That was a full 66.7% of Northeast's points, marking the fourth time in a row Summers has posted more than a third of the team's points.
