Softball Recap: Dixon Takes a Loss

Dixon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the North Boone Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 back in April.

Dixon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Breanna Tegeler, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Dixon's record now sits at 8-14. As for North Boone, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dixon is set to square off against their familiar foe Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Boone will take on rival Rock Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
