After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Senatobia, Independence was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Holly Springs Hawks as the Independence Wildcats made off with a 59-33 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Independence pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points per game. As for Holly Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Independence has already played their next game (against Rosa Fort), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Holly Springs will be playing in front of their home fans against Center Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Center Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Holly Springs likes a good challenge.
