Basketball Recap: Burleson Extends Winning Streak to Five

Burleson won the last time they faced Diamond Hill-Jarvis and things went their way on Friday too. The Elks put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 53-29 win. The Elks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 24 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Diamond Hill-Jarvis still got an impressive performance from Anthony Elizondo, who posted ten points and four steals. That was a full 34.5% of the Eagles' points, marking the fourth time in a row Elizondo has had more than a third of the team's points. Elijah Hernandez was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.
