Yazoo County entered their tilt with Riverside on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with  a   7-3  win over the Bulldogs. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.
 Will Andrews made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. What's more,  he posted two  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in February. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double. That  double marked the first that  he  hit this season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  TJ Rials, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  triple. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Broc Willingham was another key player,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
Yazoo County pushed their record up to 7-5 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
 Yazoo County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  7-0  victory against Winona on the 21st. As for Riverside, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  7-6  defeat against Clarksdale on the 22nd.
