Two dominant  backs in  Edward Bell and  Joshua Davis are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Dragons will be taking part in a tournament against the Ocala Christian Crusaders  on Thursday. One thing working in Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  in their last six matchups.
Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's defense heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  two weeks ago. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  72-0 victory over Cornerstone Academy. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind can attribute much of their success to  Ivan Mcalpin, who rushed for 48 yards and one  touchdown. That's the most  rushing yards  Mcalpin has posted since back in September of 2024.
 Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's run defense was locked in: Cornerstone Academy could only muster 1.6 yards per carry. The team can thank  Luis Gonzalez for the heroic effort on defense: he. Florida School for the Deaf & Blind didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 25.
 Florida School for the Deaf & Blind didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Jonah Abenchuchan,  Ochocinco Adams,  and  Daniel Healy picked up one apiece. Abenchuchan got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Ocala Christian faced Real Life Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Crusaders had to suffer through  a    51-14 loss at the hands of the Raptors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Crusaders have suffered  since August 22nd.
 Florida School for the Deaf & Blind pushed their record up to 6-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Ocala Christian,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-4.
 Florida School for the Deaf & Blind came up short against Ocala Christian in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023, falling  38-26. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of   Davis, who rushed for 430 yards and five  TDs while picking up 14.3 yards per carry. Now that the Dragons know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
