Baseball Game Preview: Cascade Cougars vs. Stayton Eagles

For the second straight game, Cascade will face off against Stayton. The Cougars will head out to square off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Stayton hit Cascade with a five-run seventh inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cougars came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-2.

Caden Bitikofer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Cascade's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Stayton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.
