Miller City won the last time they faced Ottoville and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Big Green with a sharp  12-2 win. Considering the Wildcats have won six contests by more than six  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Isabelle Rieman spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Lizzy Ellerbrock and  Peyton Michel did most of the damage at the plate:  Ellerbrock  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  triple and two  RBI, while  Michel  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That  triple marked the first that  Ellerbrock has  hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Miriam Ellerbrock, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs and two  RBI.
The  victory made it two in a row for Miller City and  bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Ottoville, their loss was  their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-11.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miller City will host McComb  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Ottoville, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Upper Scioto Valley  at 5:00  p.m.
