It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Royal had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Royal who was credited with the win. Royal got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the East Chambers Buccaneers's four. The result kept Royal happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 10th.

Roy Escobar and Jerson Perez scored both of Royal's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 57 goals.

Royal's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 61 goals over those nine contests. As for East Chambers, their loss dropped their record down to 17-4-1.

Royal has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against El Campo on the 28th. East Chambers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
