Softball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster suffered their closest defeat since May 8, 2025 on Monday. They fell just short of the Richland Center Hornets by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Flying Arrows in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost three in a row.

Lancaster's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Richland Center, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lancaster will take on Southwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richland Center, they will challenge Dodgeville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
