Basketball Game Preview: Eldon Mustangs vs. Buffalo Bison

The Eldon Mustangs will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Buffalo Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Eldon is leaving town to face Buffalo after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Eldon took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mountain Grove two weeks ago. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Buffalo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell just short of Cassville by a score of 48-46.

Everything went Eldon's way against Buffalo when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Eldon made off with a 66-42 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eldon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
