Basketball Recap: Woodward Comes Up Short

Woodward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 51-28 to the Northwood Rangers. The Polar Bears were probably out for revenge after losing 43-11 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Woodward's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Northwood, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodward will venture away from home to face off against Monclova Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Northwood, they are taking a road trip to challenge North Baltimore at 6:00 p.m. on February 10th.
