It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but The Classical Academy had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They didn't even let the Elizabeth Cardinals on the board, marking their second-straight 34-0 shutout. Considering the Titans have won ten contests by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of The Classical Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Kelsey Peterson and her top target Reagan Harter. Peterson threw for 200 yards and three TDs while Harter picked up 97 receiving yards and one score. Harter also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.

The Classical Academy didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Elizabeth to a completion percentage of just 50%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Jerrica Thompson and Ellie Baldini, who each logged two passes deflected. The Classical Academy hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.45 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

The Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games. As for Elizabeth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.

The Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 27-24 victory against Green Mountain on the 22nd. Elizabeth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
