Softball Preview: Tri-Township Tigers vs. Argos Dragons
Tri-Township is on a three-game streak of home losses, Argos a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Tri-Township Tigers will take on the Argos Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Tri-Township came up short against Washington Township and fell 7-4.
Kennedy Cox and Kirstyn Dailey stepped up to the plate in a big way. Cox scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Dailey scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryleigh Rust, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Argos' offense. They lost 13-0 to Caston on Saturday.
Tri-Township's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Argos, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
