Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Josie Ladd and Kaylonnie Mclaury Lead Bennett to Victory + How To Watch

Bennett won the last time they faced Platte Canyon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Bennett never let Platte Canyon on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 26-24.

Leading Bennett to victory were Kaylonnie Mclaury and Josie Ladd. Mclaury had 14 digs and one assist, while Ladd had seven aces, five kills, and four digs. Those seven aces gave Ladd a new career-high.

Bennett's record now sits at 7-10. As for Platte Canyon, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Bennett will face off against Sheridan at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Platte Canyon will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' matchup: after the Tigers face off against the Rams, they'll take on Platte Canyon again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
