Soccer Recap: Northern Durham Comes Up Short

Northern Durham lost against East Chapel Hill on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights came up short against the Wildcats, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Northern Durham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while East Chapel Hill are ranked 112th).

Northern Durham's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8. As for East Chapel Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.

Northern Durham has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Hillside on the 29th. As for East Chapel Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Durham Academy on the 25th.
