Softball Recap: Downingtown West Whippets vs. Coatesville Red Raiders
Downingtown West won the last time they faced Coatesville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Whippets came out on top in a nail-biter against the Red Raiders, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Whippets.

Addison Carter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 17 Ks. Those 17 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
