Basketball Recap: Good Samaritan Homeschool Beats Covenant Christian for Their 16th Straight Win

Good Samaritan HomeSchool put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 51-39 victory over the Covenant Christian Cougars. That's two games straight that the Hornets have won by exactly 12 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Good Samaritan HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eli Shannon, who posted nine points in addition to seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Fogo, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive games.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool's record now sits at 14-0. As for Covenant Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 81-50 defeat against Legacy Christian Academy on the 27th. As for Covenant Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-52 win against Burkeville on the 27th.
