Recap: Riverside Generals vs. Nease Panthers
The Riverside Generals suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Monday. They were dealt a 56-27 defeat at the hands of Nease. Riverside's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the squad, making it four in a row.
Nease was led to victory by Shruthika Kondabrolu and Audrey Rollins. Kondabrolu scored 12 points along with four steals, while Rollins scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Rollins hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniela Reich, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Nease, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will take on Stanton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stanton is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Nease, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Bartram Trail at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Bartram Trail is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
