Volleyball Game Preview: Dover Green Wave vs. Coe-Brown Academy Bears

The Dover Green Wave will venture away from home to take on the Coe-Brown Academy Bears at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are still undefeated after six games, but that won't be the case come Thursday.

Dover is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Pinkerton, who was ranked first at the time (Dover was ranked third). The Green Wave were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Astros on Monday.

Meanwhile, Coe-Brown Academy got the win against Mascenic Regional on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Dover's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Coe-Brown Academy, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-0.

Dover was able to grind out a solid win over Coe-Brown Academy in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Green Wave repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
