Softball Recap: Wagner Extends Winning Streak to Five

Wagner came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 16-10 margin over the Madison Golden Knights. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Wagner pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Madison, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-2.

Wagner has already played their next contest (against Tottenville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
