Softball Recap: Danville Takes a Loss

Danville has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Walker Valley Mustangs. The shutout was out of character for the Hawks seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Danville has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Walker Valley, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

Coming up, Danville will take on West Morgan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walker Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-2 win against New Hope on the 4th.
