Softball Recap: Langley Saxons vs. Westfield Bulldogs

Langley came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Westfield Bulldogs, falling 10-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Saxons, who until this contest were averaging 2.33 runs allowed.

Juliet Sayers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caitlin Hohenthaner, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.
