Volleyball Recap: California Academy of Math & Science Takes a Loss

California Academy of Math & Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Western Pioneers.

Angela Jasso had a dynamite game For Western., getting 14 digs and five aces. Jasso is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

California Academy of Math & Science's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Western, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

California Academy of Math & Science wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Cerritos on the 11th. As for Western, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Barstow on the 11th.
