Baseball Recap: Tupelo Christian Prep Extends Winning Streak to Four

Tupelo Christian Prep had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They never let Tremont get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for Tupelo Christian Prep, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Logan Umfress was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. He has become a key player for Tupelo Christian Prep: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jax Coker, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
