Basketball Game Preview: University Prep Value Wolves vs. Collins Family Jaguars

The University Prep Value Wolves will challenge the Collins Family Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Monday, University Prep Value came up short against Gertz-Ressler and fell 65-58. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Collins Family entered their tilt with ESAT on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They breezed by the Grizzlies to the tune of 62-31. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Collins Family has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for University Prep Value, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

University Prep Value was able to grind out a solid win over Collins Family in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 61-50. Does University Prep Value have another victory up their sleeve, or will Collins Family turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
