Volleyball Recap: Crespi Comes Up Short

Crespi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Loyola Cubs. The Celts were not able to make up for their loss to the Cubs from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

While Crespi was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Loyola's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-16.

Crespi's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Loyola, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 24-4.

Crespi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Harvard-Westlake on the 8th. As for Loyola, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Chaminade on the 8th.
