Volleyball Recap: Zeigler-Royalton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Zeigler-Royalton lost against Johnston City on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Zeigler-Royalton sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 27-25, 18-25, 25-20.

Zeigler-Royalton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Johnston City, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zeigler-Royalton will venture away from home to challenge Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Johnston City, they will take on Herrin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
