Baseball Recap: Trinidad Takes a Loss

Trinidad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Pagosa Springs Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Wednesday.

Trinidad's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pagosa Springs, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Trinidad will face off against Ignacio at 11:00 a.m. on the 12th. The Miners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Pagosa Springs, they have already played their next game, a 25-0 victory against Sanford on the 8th.
